Dottie I cannot believe it has been three weeks ago almost that you became ill late Saturday nite and passed away on Sunday. You came to our home in Houston, Texas 14 years ago through a weekend babysitting job. Daniel and I had just gotten married and a friend asked us if you could watch us over the weekend. By the end of the weekend you had chewed through blinds and other things but we were still in love with you.
Two months later I found Gunner (a dog who had been dumped on the side of the road). You instantly became best friends. The years passed we moved many times with Dan’s job and during that time we had Dylan then later in your life Dawson. You and Gunner were Dylan’s best audience when he was a baby. You really seemed empty when Gunner left us two years ago after dying of a heart attack.
We missed him terribly and loved you more. Dylan and Dawson misses you dearly and so do we. We will love you and miss you all the days of our lives. I will never forget you and think about you all the time.
I love you Dottie girl and I hope you are running happily with Gunner.
Love me
