We adopted Duffy from the Battersea Dogs Home in Brands Hatch four years ago. He was already about 8 years old and quite a Strong character. Too look at he just made you laugh, with huge trotter legs and paws only 6 inches long, with a long collie body. He had a better wiggle then I did and instantly made me laugh.
He hated children, white vans, postman, dogs but loved cheese. He taught me how not to behavior in the masters presence lol. He loved his toy lion head and went to sleep with in his mouth. I’m sure he has it at the rainbow meadows now.
He got the diagnosis of a bowel tumour some 16 months ago. So he wined and dined on chicken soup and chicken in white wine sauce for that time. In the end it was a very hard choice whether to let him to go on for an extra few days.
Now I’m sure his ok, with his new buddies in the Rainbow fields. The only thing is, that he says if I cry anymore his gonna need water wings.
