Duke was our son Nicks’s dog. He got hit and was taken from us last Sunday. He was an amazing dog with a personality that was kind and gentle. He and my son were so close, best friends. We loved Duke very much too, so much so that when Nick moved out we were in mourning. Nick would let us have him each week for a couple of days at a time, Puppy visitation! I cannot tell you how many people his passing has affected. We will cherish his memory. We will miss his head tilts, how excited he was to see us, mostly seeing he and Nick together.
