Duke was a Special lab, seeing as how he was not purebred but I thought he was when I got him. We did everything together, from playing fetch to going camping. He was a trusted friend and companion and went everywhere that I did. I’m going to miss this little buddy of mine, but I know now, that he is waiting for me to join him and rekindle all the fun we used to have. I’ll be seeing you.
I became your step-mom eleven years ago, but you loved me all the same. I thought this day would never come, but sadly for us you are gone. I will miss playing face and fetch, and especially you throwing your red squeaky bone to yourself when no one else would. Know that you were deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
