A letter to my Ebony.
My sweet little Ebby, I just wanted you to know even though its been seven months since you left me, it still feels like it was just yesterday. I still miss you more and more every day. I think back to the day that you got out, I should have noticed it sooner. I should have found you before that car did. Oh Dolly, please forgive me for not missing you sooner and know that I love you.
I’m sure you know by now that I have Daisy. She isn’t a cocker spaniel, she’s a clumbsy lab, but she will never replace you, no pet could. You have such a special place in my heart and that will never leave me. You were my first truly unconditional love. I have a picture of you and me where I see it at least 50 times a day and you can still bring a smile to my face. I miss you Ebby more then I ever thought possible.
