A Request for Eight Ball
Give him some open space as he always liked the outdoors.
Let there be some small trees for him to climb as he liked doing that.
Not too high so he can get down easily.
Let there be some sweet grass for him to chew on.
And fresh water when he gets thirsty.
Let there be squirrles and birds for him to watch,
And a few mice to chase.
And perhaps if it wouldn't be much trouble a few to catch.
Let there be bugs to chase through the grass for hours on end.
Let there be places for him to explore and things to keep his curiosity
satisfied,
And to keep him from getting bored.
And let there be other cats for him to play with and keep
him company so he doesn't get lonely.
And if this is not possible,
At least give him a sunny spot to nap in during the day,
And a soft warm place to sleep at night,
For he was more than just a cat,
He was a companion at the least,
And a friend at the most.
And he deserves that much
