When you turned 17 this year you still showed signs of pep, but with grey in your face you were competing with Yogi’s youthful step.
The doctors said your hearing was gone, and your heart was very weak. And even though you can’t hear me your tail wags as I speak.
I sung to you still daily, and knew the time was drawing near. You captured my heart so long ago, and I am fighting off each tear.
You had the softest fur from the start until the very end. Your silly howling beagle bay could my sadness always mend.
You’d cry and whine to meet me, if I’d stayed away too long. The licks upon my face and arms were the
verses of your song.
I know that Poppiey and Smokie are waiting to help you fill eternity. Until I leave this planet and you all will come to me.
The kisses your rained upon my face to wipe away my pain, were your bittersweet present to me your Momma a last memory to gain.
Every day without you will leave a gaping hole, we loved you so completely with spirit, heart, and soul.
You filled our lives with laughter, and drowned our hearts with joy, besides me there wasn’t much you needed barely food or a toy.
No other dog will love me, the way you depended on my care. From the moment I watched your birth, your needs were always in my prayers.
I saw your first breaths taken, and held you at your last. In our hearts you will always be there, this love will never pass.
Until we meet again, We will do our best to love another. We do not know their name or breed but we are certain
it’s a brother.
Thank you Cutie Beagle Boy Einy, you were a gift from the very start, your space will always be anchored deeply
in our hearts.
Einstein, Beagle Boy, Fuzzy Lickerman, Little Man, Little Mayonnaise, Little Mayo on the Side, Licholas Lickelby, Mr Chievous, and Cutie Boy. You will be missed until the stars fall like rain from the sky.
YogiBear says you were the best Big Brother ever, and hopes he learned enough to fill the Big Brother shoes.
With Tears and Love,
