Ernie’s nickname was “Red Bear”. He had the most beautiful deep, dark coat. He was one of the most easy-going dogs I had ever known. You could dress him up in sunglasses and snuggle with him on the floor. He loved getting into the trash, chasing birds and occasionally a cat, and of course the cabin, but most of all, he loved his family. He was the big brother to my nieces, Molly and Emma. You, know the kind of dog that would be their dress-up doll or horsey ride and doesn’t mind at all. He was my sister’s watch dog and my brother-in-law’s best friend.
Ernie, you will be missed, but never forgotten.
