Freckles was very unique! She was a brown-spotted dalmation and lived to be 9 1/2 years old (when normal dalmations live only to be about 7). For three days she was constantly throwing up would never go to the bathroom eat or sleep. My father and I took her to the vet on Thanksgiving morning to find that she had 75% kidney failure and that either she go home with us and be in pain or we put her to sleep. Well we chose to put her down. So an hour later my mother and little sister came to the hospital and we all decided to have her put to sleep. It was the hardest thing to see in all of my life. She took four deep and terrifying breaths and then fell eternally asleep. She was the most beautiful creature that God had ever made. She was gentle sweet loving and kind. It hurts more than anything having to come home from school and work and not her meet you at the door and knowing that she never will. Though our tears flood the house it has not quite hit us that she is no more! But we do know that she is with Quakey and Twitch in Heaven right now sleeping all that she wants eating anything she wants and breathing in the heavening air of peace. I love you Freckles and I always will!
