Freddie by Nancy Schreiber / “Scram”””

Freddie–

I have wanted to leave a tribute for you for over 2 years now. I miss you with all my heart. Your “Smom” misses you, too, even though she lives far away.

You were the friendliest dog and loved your exercise and walking. You also loved to watch me doing my aerobics workout. How I remember those days when I’d come home from work, and you’d be there to greet me at the back door. Then you’d go with me for a walk around the block (weather permitting), and then you’d come upstairs with me and spend time with me, watching me dance. Most of the time you became bored and went to sleep. You helped me so much through all my lonely times and stressful events, especially those events at my place of employment.

When I had to find you a new home, it was the hardest thing I ever had to do. After you were gone, I cried for days. I tried to keep in touch with you by sending you birthday cards and buying you birthday gifts. I had asked your new owners to keep me informed of what was going on with you, which they agreed to do, but they never did. I found out by accident that they had you put to sleep, so I never got to say “good-bye”. I will always remember your affection for me, your cute face, and your unique mannerisms.

You were my “pride and joy”, and I want you to know that you are remembered very fondly by me.

With much love,
Freddie
