Cat
My Freebie was a wonderful pet who warmed my life and others. Freebie was a unique cat who loved to give “head bunts” by which he
would lower his head and tap my head with his.
This was one of his favorite ways to tell me how much he loved me.
He was very cuddly with me loved to curl up in bed with me and purr
and he was very content. He would sometimes lie there all night.
Freebie loved it when he could chase me and I would pretend he caught
me and I would fall. He was full of energy.
Once when he was a kitten he pulled the toilet paper down the hall
and played with it-all I could do was laugh.
He was my shadow who would always cheer me up follow me
around the house come when I needed someone to cry on
and always snuggle when he could.
When he was 4 1/2 years old he was slowing down.
We worked all day so we adopted another kitten for us and for
Freebie. They were buddies and loved to chase each other around
and play fight. JC and Freebie would snuggle up and sit together
and would be pals. But still Freebie still was my shadow.
Freebie JC and I looked after each other until yesterday
when the vet examined Freebie and told me that he had cancer
it was not operable and it had burst.
He was in great pain and would die in pain so it was
up to me to look after Freebie one last time.
The worst time of my life.
I love you Freebie.
I will miss you and love you forever.
God will take care of you now.
