Fritz by Darlene / Mommie and Harley

Fritzie,

You seemed to know that the time was near. You ran back and forth from the front to back door wanting out
like never before.

It was hard to let you go, I hated it so. My heart broke in two that day, knowing what I had to do. You had suffered so much and in the end
you were comforting me seeming to say,
“Mommie it’s okay, I’m ready”.

Your fight with cancer had come to its end, and it was time for me to set you free. You passed on in my arms, the way
it was supposed to be.

I will never forget you, and forever will love you. You were my best friend unconditionally loving me to the end. Home is not the same. Harley and I still look for you as we pass
by your little bed.

Christmas will be hard this year. I have chosen a special ornament to hang on the tree. Each year I will hang
this ornament to help me.

God be with you, Fritzie, run in peace and be finally pain free. Mommie loves you soooo much honey, and always will. I can’t wait for the time when we will meet again.
Wait for me on Rainbow Bridge.

With all my love,
Fritz
