Fuzzball was rescued out of a local animal shelter at the age of three and became an instant companion to me. She was a beautiful, bouncy, black and white ball of fluff with a quick spirit and so much determination to fit in to our family. She was in essence my “first” child. She moved into out first home with us and was with us when we had our first “human” child, Michael, a few years later.
She saw me through a bad divorce 5 years later and became my comfort, as always. My little “shadow” was always by my side! And when she started to limp a little and arthritis
started setting in, I helped her.
When I got remarried, she adopted my new husband. When she became deaf and started loosing her hearing, I helped her. When she started suffering from senility I helped her. When a new dog came into the household, she still remained the Number 1 dog in our house.
And when she started having strokes I hung in there with her until the last one that left her gasping for breath and I asked the vet to not allow her to suffer any more.
I love you Fuzz, I miss you and I feel lost without my best friend! You were one in a million and the love you gave me can never be forgotten as will you never be forgotten. Go running, my love, with the big dogs, pain free…until we meet again…..
I love you, always and forever...
