Today is the 4th anniversary of the passing of my darling “mutt” Geordie. He was the perfect combination of Shetland Sheepdog, German Shepherd, and Samoyed. Good as gold. Most importantly, my perfect companion, my child, my soul-mate. My heart still breaks when I think of how hard his last two years were, and I still wonder if I did the right thing ending his life when I did. My only prayer is that I will see him again in eternity.
Geordie, I miss you terribly, cry for you daily, and hope to make things up to you someday. You were the best thing in my life; no one can take your place.
