I will never know why you chose me for your special friend, but it started as a kitten, it was my lap you sought out to sleep on. It was my touch you accepted, and my bed you would rest on when things got too hectic in the living room. I loved you and always tried to show you every day, and made a point of petting you each time I would have to be gone for awhile, and we would always find each other when I got back. As you grew, you would tolerate others, but I remained your special friend. When I got back today, it was to find that you had crossed paths with an electric cord, and was killed. I am heartbroken and miss you, with the only solace to know that you are with Mowgli and OJ, waiting for me to come and we will cross the Rainbow bridge together.
