I had to say good-bye,
I didn’t want to let you go.
I don’t know how I,
Will begin to cope.
You’ve been with me,
For a good long time.
Since you were a Baby,
You were always by my side.
The Boss of your yard,
You let everyone know,
Just exactly how far,
You would let them go.
You took such good care,
During my darkest days.
You were always there,
With your quiet loving ways.
Your favorite place was the Beach,
Where you always made me run.
You dug holes and chased Bees,
Then snoozed on your back in the sun.
Saturday was Bath day,
You never let me forget.
You’d lay on your towel to wait,
Or in front of the tub you’d sit.
You were the best friend,
That I will ever know.
So now I must begin,
To learn to let you go.
Goodbye Ginger,I love you so,
Ginger |
