I’ll never forget the day we first met. You were rolling around in that doggy bed, wrestling your brother. What a goofy little fluff ball you were! When we came in, you looked at us, jumped out of the bed and stood at my feet looking up at me, almost as if to say “Momma? You finally found me!
Let’s go home!”

We have so many fun memories of you. Riding in the car to pick up the kids from school. It made me laugh how you would growl at the mean looking kids and wag your tail at the nice looking ones. You were so funny.

Remember how much you loved camping? Hiking to the lake with the family like you were some big old hunting dog? You even tried to bark like one. You certainly kept up with the
fasted of us all.

I remember how you used to babysit the kittens when they were born. I think you were more protective of them
then the stupid cat was!

What I will remember most were your beautiful brown eyes. We never had to guess how you were feeling. Just the look in your eye showed us. We saw it all: joy, sadness, jealousy, pain, love, sheer delight. Your wonderful personality made us laugh and your complete love for us made every one of us feel special. What a blessing
you have been to our entire family.

It has been hard for us to let you go. It all happened so suddenly, it hardly seems real. We still don’t know what happened or why you died. It seems like an injustice.

Our sorrow is great, but our love for you is even greater. We never knew we could love a dog as much as we have loved you. You truly were a cherished member of our family. We look forward to the day when we will see you again.

We love you, little buddy!
