Gracie by The Lamberti Family / Your Family who love and miss you very much

Gracie is a purebred boxer. She was born on April 13, 2011 to Bonnie & Clyde. She was the first out of seven females to be born! At 8 weeks of age, she was shipped off to NY to her forever home. Gracie, I’ll never forget the day you were picked up from the airport! I was at school at couldn’t wait to meet you.

The first day I saw you, you were in the car and you picked me up from school. You were so tiny. You sat in my lap the whole car ride home. Then as soon as you got home, you peed on my rug in my room. You were always energetic and excited and that’s what I loved about you.

As soon as I met you, you played with all of your toys and you loved to run. You used to run so fast that you nearly knocked people down. You used to bark a lot and we would always tell you to be quiet but now that your not here, I miss you so much! Unfortunately on July 7, 2013 you got sick. You began to limp because of your back leg. Then you had sudden pain in your neck. And eventually you could no longer walk. And you were unable to bark. We knew something was wrong with you so we took you for an MRI and the neurologist told us that there was a cancerous tumor in your brain stem that was inoperable. Because it was in your brain stem, it affected your motor skills, your voice, movement, head…etc. We tried to save you Gracie, but we knew I was suffering. We didn’t want you to suffer for our own benefit. We wanted you to live a long life, but not when you were in pain. We cried for you but we knew it was time for you, Gracie, because you couldn’t walk anymore. I wish we could’ve saved you but I also know that you know we couldn’t see you in pain any longer because we didn’t want you to suffer. You passed away on July 17, 2013 at 4:42pm. Now my Gracie girl, you are in heaven with
your older boxer sister, Lexus.

This page is in memory of Gracie the Boxer. RIP my Grace face. You didn’t deserve this. You were only 2 years old. It’s true when they say, only the good die young. I love and miss you each and everyday. I miss you sleeping on my feet at night, your bark, you bouncing your favorite red ball, and your crazy running around the entire yard. I’ll love you and miss you forever and always! My Gracie! RIP 4/13/11 – 7/17/13

Always & Forever my Grace Face,
Gracie
