Granny Good Wrench by Carrie-Anne Barry / Your Owner

I know this sounds like the everyday cat, but she wasn’t. She was there for me through thick and thin. I remember when I was 8 years old and I came out on the couch at two in the morning to cry because my mom was moving away. She came out and sat with me and looked straight into my eyes and she understood.

Granny Good Wrench was a very scary and spooky cat that would run from everything. But she could not run from death. Granny first started having problems last year(2005) and she had to have her leg amputated. Then she had a surgery for her tumor. What finally got her was when she had a huge rip in her intestines. She hung on for two weeks longer then we expected.

It was so sad to watch her slowly die with no food. When she was coming to her end she meowed like she didn’t know what was happening. When she died she looked straight into my eyes and I understood perfectly. I left her go and she died in my arms at 10:27.

My email is norwegianerd@yahoo.com for anyone who has sympathy for me or needs sympathy,
or anyone interested in horses.

I Love You and I always Will Love You,
