Gray-B by Richard & Roberta Biernacki / Pa & Ma

Our tough little girl was not “born to us”, she found us when we moved into our first home. She had been abandoned, and our “big guy” cat (Eggbert) didn’t like her much, but Gray-B was persistant, and won our hearts first, then the others. After the passing of the “big guy”, Gray-B decided that it was time for her to come inside and make herself at home….we had another little girl at the time, who allowed Gray-B to be around us, and finally gave in, and Gray-B was an indoor baby from then on.

She had a stumpy little tail (we never knew why or how it happened), and the coldest ears. She would sit on the heater grate to warm her bones, and on my lap at night curled upside-down in my blanket. When she started getting frail, she lost her appetite, which was not like her at all, she would beg anything she could get her teeth into! I finally made my mind up that she would not suffer any more, and she allowed me to hold her all night saying goodbye. We will miss her playful antics and her cute little “waggy” tail. Now she can chase Eggbert all she wants!

Rest comfy Gray-B Gribble,
