My little Gretchen, so small and soft,
life will not be the same without you.
As I layed you to rest today I remembered the joys you brought to my life, the many times you comforted me, and the many times you made me laugh when no one else could. You were a wonderful friend and companion and I thanked God for the honor I had in knowing you.
The only other night I have cried so long and hard was the night someone took you. Our love was so strong we were able to find each other then…..I just pray we will know the joy of finding each other again some day.
Remember you were,and will always be,
