What can I say but in my 47 years I’ve had many pets and though in their passing I was deeply hurt. None so much as this one, Gretchen was part of my family. I loved her like she was my daughter and I know that love was returned, with licks and lots of tail wagging and playtime and sleeptime next to mommy. Oh, sweet angel, I so miss you and I know you were so sick that we couldn’t do anything more, but when I left you that last day, I left part of me behind.
You, my sweet Gretchen, will always be a part of me, and until we meet again you will remain forever in my heart sweet girl. I miss you so much and love you.
