Hank,
You brought us so much joy. When we first adopted you you were very shy and afraid of us, so would show you we cared by cheering and clapping while you showed off for us by jumping off the ledges in your cage and climbing up the side and running in your wheel. You were very energetic and determined. You loved to keep us on our toes by trying to jump off of everything! Eventually, you came to appreciate us as parents and would approach us to give us kisses and be held. You especially loved to curl up
close to daddy and relax.
You taught us how meaningful a simple existence can be and how to love unconditionally. You made us laugh everyday and we were inspired by your determination to be active even in your old age. You did not want to let go of this life because you enjoyed it so much. We love you so much Hank, and hope you are enjoying playing in heaven with the angels and with your previously deceased brothers and sisters: Goldie, Gus, Ben, Becca, Abby, Rose and Link. We cannot wait to see you again someday!
