We miss you very much our precious little girl.
From the very first day we saw you, we knew you were our fur kid. We weren’t looking for a dog but when I saw you in that shoebox sleeping, I HAD to have you. It must have been one of those things where we were meant to be together.
We remember you climbing the child gate to get out in the mornings when you were little. We will remember you wanting to sleep with us – you never asked, you just jumped up there and laid down, especially during thunderstorms or fireworks. You were such a doll when you were little playing in the water hose. You loved traveling with us – if we started the RV up, you would jump on the couch and never get out so we couldn’t leave you behind – you always went with us that’s why we bought the RV. You were the most excited dog when we would come home – you nearly knocked us down to greet us and the routine your dad & you went through when he would come home from work – I’ve got that on video thank goodness!
How times flies, and then we get old. You went through so much during the summer of 2006 – we found out about your degenerative myelopathy & disc protrusions. Then you had your stomach bloat but you survived that surgery! You were one tuff cookie. The pain from your chronic disc protrusions and arthritic hurt alot those last few months. We didn’t mind that you couldn’t walk and we didn’t mind taking care of you but we didn’t want you in pain.
I hope you forgive us for sending you on to the Rainbow Bridge. Please wait for us along with Bonnie & Shelby.
We love you forever and ever,
