Henry My Baby

It seems like just yesterday I was at Janie’s house picking you out of the other puppies. I could have chosen any of them but I chose the only one awake playing at my feet with my shoe laces. We had many great years together. I used to get a kick out of the way you would “fall” every time
I rubbed your side.

And I still vividly remember the day I realized how seriously sick you were. And staring into your brown eyes as they closed for the last time. I miss you so much but I know you are better off where you are. A place where all
your pain has been taken away.

I love you always.
