Indy Jones
You were such a little coward when I brought you home at 10 weeks. I had to carry you across the living room-you were afraid of your new home. You slept on my head just to feel the familiar touch of hair.
You loved life!! Together we rejoiced in the warmth of the sun and played in fields and walked many paths.
You went to work with me and loved the patients in our hospital as much as I did. We could count on you to bring a smile to the faces of folks in wheelchairs; to sit patiently while arms shaking with Cerebal Palsy would reach out to hold you.
At 8 years of age you developed Cushings and Diabetes. Your personality changed as you became consumed with your quest for food and water. With medication you lived another 6 years; still good times but also filled with surgeries and eventual blindness. You were a trooper fighting for life and to be near me. I had to let you go before Heart failure filled your life with misery.
I loved you so. You were my child my guardian angel; my dearest friend. May peace and love attend your spirit.
Love you Indy Jones.
