James Douglas by Lee Anne Hebert / Mom

I brought you home as a kitten in 91,
Who would ever know you’d be the one?
To become the father of them all,
You were always the proud and tall;
Then you gave me Douglas, Jena and Lloyd,
On to Clovis to fill the void;
The grandfather you became to each and all,
But always you stood so tall;
Then the day came when you were taken from me,
My eyes filled with tears that all could see;
I want you to know that my heart still aches,
For no other can ever take your place;
Up in heaven you are at peace,
Someday we’ll be together once again, never to cease.

Forever Loved and Missed,

Love,
James Douglas
