Jesse,
You were our “first baby”. We brought you home when you were just five weeks old. I will never forget you trying to scramble up onto my lap in the car and how, when you finally made it up, you lay there so calm and warm. We had you alone for almost 2 years when the other babies started coming. You were the best. Oh sooooo protective of all three when they were babies.
It melted my heart to watch you sit by their bassinets until they woke up and how you just looked at people when they came near. You loved them from the beginning too. You were the best friend and most loving campanion we could ever had hoped for, the most gentle caring dog ever!! Daddy and I could not put off the inevitable anymore. We tried and we tried, but the decision we made for you today was the best thing we could do for you. As I sit here with tears streaming down my face I know you are not in pain anymore and I know you will always be in my heart.
I also you know you will be watching over all of us the best you can like you always have. I love you Jesse!!! and I will miss you terribly.
