Jonathan the Big Guy Buddy our Johnny-cat.
He came to us in 1986 after our wedding.
The people who owned him left him behind with a
neighbor but he came back to his old house to us.
He was afraid of Blue Jays,(they attacked him as a kitten)
he had only 3/4 of one ear,(a trimming with sissors from the previous
owner's child) he let our other cat Sneak nurse him when
Sneaky was a kitten.He allowed Punky to swat him
without swatting back. He was a benevolent figure in our home.
He gave the best head bumps that I ever knew.
He loved to run through the grass when we moved to our 5 acres.
Our Pal. Old age and a tired liver ended his trek through life and
our hearts but I was there to see that his passing was peaceful and loving.
He knew a gentle head pat and a kiss as his gentle soul went to heaven.
Jonathan I hope that you and God share great head bumps until
we join you in heaven.
Watch down on us and remember that we love you.
