From the bottom of this mothers heart, I thank you for the loyal friend and companion you were to my kids the whole time they were growing up. You taught them unconditional love, you protected them fiercely and they loved you back.
We have so many good memories with you and I can hardly believe you’re not here. I look out the window and your footprints are still in the snow, your bed looks so empty and I keep thinking that I need to go study in the recliner because you like to be with me.
You fought so much pain, so many surgeries and then the arthritis. We should have let you go earlier, but I just couldn’t. Now, when we did, it hurts so bad to know you’re not here. Just know, pupper, that you you were our our faithful friend and beloved companion.
