Kitten
My boyfriend and I adopted a female kitten from the
Delaware County SPCA in Pennsylvania during July in order to give
our other male kitten a companion. With in one week of owning Kyra
she started sneezing and within a few days was so congested that she
could not eat. Since Kyra could not smell her food she could not eat it,
therefore she slowly weakened until she could no longer hold herself up,
or even open her eyes. My boyfriend and I tried desperately to force feed her
but Kyra would only spit her food out because it was so hard for
her to swallow. She died unfortunately too young. She was such
a loving and affectionate kitty who always wanted love.
It was very upsetting to us both financially and
emotionally to watch this cat die.
