Cat

I found Lacey in our local Humane Society.

She was a beautiful silver tabby.

She had been brought in with an injured male cat that had been

hit by a car. The humane society folks told me that they usually did

not take uninjured animals but since she and the hurt cat had evidently

been running together and she had stayed with him until they were

rescued they took her too.

She was spayed and ready to come home with me and my four children

a week after her surgery. She was a truly loyal and beautiful friend.

She was always by my side and gave me years of love.

She became very ill and I had to have her put down due to

a stroke and brain tumor. It was one of the saddest days of my life.

I will always love her and know that she is up on a cloud with

my daddy who passed away 22 years ago of brain cancer

and my beloved mother who died 5/10/2001 of liver cancer.

May they all rest in peace.

Susan
