To My Lady:
Today I said a sad goodbye to my best little buddy.
It was hard but necessary as you were suffering and
that's not what I wanted for you.
I knew when I adopted you as an older dog that
our time together would be short and
this morning I found out just how short.
We had 6 beautiful years together and I know that you are now free
of pain and that I will heal from this grief and sorrow
that I feel at this moment.
Rest in Peace my beautiful friend until we meet again.
