Lenska joined our family a bouncy cheeky bundle of fluff; she instantly became a treasured member of the family and the children and myself loved her very much.
She loved nothing more than to run free chasing rabbits and digging huge holes in the sand. She was diagnosed with epilepsy in December 2010 and as her fits were so severe I had to put her onto medication. She was fine for a few weeks but on Thursday night ( 10th Feb 2011 ) I was walking along the river with her enjoying our night time walk when she went down, I though she had just stumbled as she was such a clumsy dog but when I got to her she wouldn’t get back up again…..her heart must have just given out.
I will always be grateful to her for her choosing her time to go and making sure she was away from the kids…she died in my arms….just me and her the way it was always supposed to be……sleep well darling fur baby mummy will see you again. xxx
