Somewhere they say there is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
It is a place where all animals go to
when they have to leave their earthly bodies here on earth.
I BELIEVE there is such a place!
Hope you are in this special place
with your brother Benji
running through the green grass
and catching colorful butterflies in flight.
Know this my little lion that even though we are apart now
we will never forget you
nor stop missing the love that you gave to us;
so unconditionally throughout the years.
Know that you have enriched this family
because of all the love you gave to each and everyone of us.
We will be FOREVER changed
after being touched by an angel
disguised as a cat named "Leonardo".
So until we meet at Rainbow's Bridge my little Leo
be happy for the physical pain is finally over!
The pain that remains is
the pain of longing us as we long for you.
We will meet you there soon
anticipating the sight of you in the distance
in flight to our arms
where we will never be apart again.
