Liquirizia by Yvonne / Mommy

Death is not the extinguishing of the light… it is the
putting out of the lamp because the dawn has come.”
~ Indian Poet Rabindranath Tagore ~

My sweet soft Liquirizia, you are free from pain now, you can hop around, eat and sleep with your brother Buggs Bunny for eternity. You two have such a special bond, and I know how much you missed him for the past two years. To picture you together again warms my broken heart.
Mommy loves you and that’s the only reason why I helped you go to Rainbow Bridge today. No more fighting for breath, no more sad eyes and pain. You’re an angel now and you deserve forever comfort and peace.

I’ll never forget your scent, like a unique perfume. Your shiny deep black fur which was the softest I’ve ever touched, and the cutest little white spot on your nose which moved up and down. It always made me kiss it 🙂

Liquirizia you didn’t give up, you were just tired and you let me know you were ready to go. Thank you baby for the seven years and 8 months you shared with me, I’ll never forget the morning I woke up to find you and your brother. The smallest and cutest naked bunnies I’ve ever seen! You’ve always been the princess and of course the boss.
I am thankful I was with you as your spirit slipped away, you cuddled up in my arms, and I held you close and told you everything’ll be alright. I’ll never forget that moment, how peaceful you looked as you layed down and took your last breath.

Be a good girl in Heaven and as I know you, you’ll take good care of your brother.

God please hold her in your warm lap and let her know I miss and love her.

Love always and forever,
Liquirizia
