Beagle/Terrier
Lucy was our first baby!
When I went to “see” this puppy my dad told me about
I feel in love with her at first sight!
She was the sweetest thing I ever set eyes on!
When she cried because it was the first time
she had been away from her mom I cried with her.
She was a mommy’s baby from day one!
She had the cutest spotted lips you have ever seen!
In April Lucy hurt her back. She was in alot of pain.
She was not even able to walk.
She was hospitalized and on heavy medication for 3 days.
That was the longest and hardest 3 days of my life
(it was Easter weekend).
We had to make the decision to let her go to a better place
when she made absolutely no improvement.
I held her sweet face and told her how much we all loved her
until she took her last breath in my ear!
It was so hard but I could not imagine not being with her
when she went to sleep for the last time.
I was able to bring her home with me before she
was hospitalized and she managed to drag herself into
my bedroom to be with me while I did my hair
and make-up as always!
She was truly my best friend!
My husband and I still cry often because nothing
can take her place.
We have since gotten another dog
whom we love dearly
but she does not come close to our Lucy!
She was the best natured happy loving dog I have
ever come across.
She was truly one in a million!
Lucy we miss you!!!!!
