Madchen by Louis & Sue Weir / Daddy and Mama

Madchen,

You were a smart girl. You picked me when you knew that I was not going to budge on picking a puppy. You tugged on my pants leg until you grabbed a piece of my heart. You were my baby girl. I rocked you to sleep, you came house broken, then house broke your pups.

You always wanted to please us, that is what you lived for. We loved you more than you could ever know. I am sorry that we had to leave you alone so much during those last few months, but Daddy needed me more. You took care of me and the house, that was your job and you took it seriously. Your daddy feels guilty that he didn’t get up with you that last night, he still cries about it. I still cry about being in the hospital away from you the last week you lived. We loved you so much and still think of you everyday. You took a big part of our heart with you when you died. You and Kleine have fun and wait for us at the rainbow bridge where we will meet you someday.

We love you for always,
Madchen
