Maddie, you were the light of my life. You gave so much and were my best friend, and one I know can never be replaced. You were a little quirky, very humerous and never seemed to drift from showing me your love and devotion even when you had some bad days. I will miss how you would take my slipper to your bed when I would leave. Our days riding in the truck were special and bring tears every time I get in now. You rode in ‘your spot’ on your last ride and even though weakened never gave up in sitting there with pride. I love you Maddie girl and will miss you terribly.
Also, Maddie, I want you to know I have your collar and it will always ride in your seat. So sleep well my baby as you deserve to leave this world of pain. And Maddie, I will see you at the bridge and we will run and play like we used to do.
So long my trusted friend.
