Today I had to make the hardest decision anyone ever has to make by having to say good-bye. Even though I knew this day would come for the last couple of months, I pushed it into the back of my mind so I wouldn’t have to think about it, but this last week I could see it was time to let you go.
Even though the tumor in your leg was getting bigger you wouldn’t let it stop you from doing all your normal kitty things but it was getting harder for you to get around, so today I set you free from your pain.
I will always remember that day 14 years ago when I went to the shelter to get another kitty. I decided on your brother Madison, but you had other ideas and just kept coming out of the cage crying time after time and wouldn’t give up. So I came home with YOU and your brother, and you have been “THE BIG MAN” ever since.
You always watched over and took care of your brother and even when I took in a litter of feral kittens 4 years ago you allowed them into your home and watched over them too. At least they all got the chance to say good-bye
before you had to go.
I am sure that both “THE BIG KITTY” Secret and Jimmy were waiting for you when you crossed over. Manny, please know that I, your brother, and all the other kitties will always love you and will miss you until we are all together again.
Love Always,
