Dearest Megan,
It is now almost 7 weeks ago since you left us to join your mate Bruno & Mysti at Rainbow Bridge. Christmas has come and gone but was not the same without you. Neither your mummy or I could sit down and write a tribute to you before now because we could not see through our tears. You have left such a void in our lives that will be impossible to fill.
Unfortunately we only had you for the last 6 of your 10 years. You came into our lives at such a sad time when we needed you as much as you needed us after we made contact with Boxer rescue who told us about you. You gave us so much joy and pleasure and we were only too happy to do anything for you. Our one regret is that we could not give you the gift of a healthier life, which in the end took you away. Inspite of all your illnesses and medication which you took with little fuss you really enjoyed life to the full.You really enjoyed your walks with us, our friends and their dogs. Always taking a dip and a lie down in the stream or lake as we passed by.
Many a day was also spent on the beach with you digging in the sand to hide your frisbee, only to dig it up again and go for a swim in the sea.
Like your friends before you, you were more than just a pet to us, you were our best friend. A loyal and faithful companion who will never ever be forgotten. Until we meet again, sleep well dear Megan.
