RE: Monkey Mouse, Mick, Micker,Pup-Dog, Little SHIH

We lost Mickey the Friday morning after Thanksgiving 2005 around 8:00AM he was waiting on the end of our bed for us to get up before he left this world. He always slept with us, we even bought a new 5th wheel so we would have a king size bed for him. He had not felt well for a short time, lost his hearing and was about to lose one eye but did not seem to be in pain. He had been feeling bad for about a week every day he would get worse. Vet done blood work and was treating him with antibody.

Friday morning I took him outside to potty and he could hardly stand up. He had a major seizer and stopped breathing for about 30 seconds then started back breathing again. He had an accident in the bed that he had never done before. We washed him up to go to the Vet and was holding him in his big towel to dry he looked me in the eyes and I had to tell him he could go if he needed to, then he passed away in my arms.

Except for losing a little 21 month granddaughter in July 1999( he was really there for me during this awful time)& 4 year old nephew, this is the hardest thing I have had to do is let him go. Tony and I both are very sad right now. He gave us 12 years and 3 months of pure happiness. He was the sweetest little dog and always there for us. He is very loved and missed so much.

We buried him in his back yard (that we built a chainlink fence for only to go potty)where he has been all of his life. He is the only house dog we have ever had and came into our lives when our son’s were going on there own. He is everywhere we look right now, I know it must get better. There will never be another Mickey so I pray he is waiting for us at the Rainbow gate.

Thanks for hearing our story. We now can relate to all of you.
May God’s peace be with you.
Wanda and Tony Schwarz

Forever in our hearts and always on our minds,
