Mindy, you lived a long life. My only wish is that you went in peace. I held you for almost two hours in tears saying my last goodbyes to you. I woke up this morning looking for you, it’s only been a day since you’ve left us…but I still feel you with me. I will remember the good memories I have of you. Like when you would sleep in the baby’s playpen, or how she would pull on your fur and you let her, or every night how you would sleep next to me. You came to me at a time when I needed something to love, and you loved me back. You were in many ways my best friend, I love you forever, and I always will. Forever in my heart, we will meet again, Mind Mind.
