Mitzy by Aunt Millie & Bobby / Bob

“Mitzy”, This tribute to you is a long time in coming.

I was just a tiny little boy, when you were in my life…BUT….even after fifty nine years, I can still see you in my mind, and I still think quite often about you, dear girl.

It was a terrible day, when I found out that Aunt Millie had taken you off to the animal shelter. It pained me terribly, and to this very day, it still disturbs me, as there was no reason for her to have done that to you.

I well remember your calm, affectionate, way. How I loved to pet you, and talk to you. I still remember your kittens, and the time that you followed my sister & I when we carried one of your babies to the front of the house. And than how you waited until we put the kitten down, and how you gently picked it up, and carried it back to the woodshed, where the other kittens were nested.

Mitzy, I love you, and
I will always remember you
with warm fondness.

Until we meet again, my dear sweet Mitzy!

With so much love,
Mitzy
