" Mo "
1991 ----- March 6 1999
Cat
MO kitty was the funniest smartest most lovable animal that I
have ever known. He was diagnosed with feline leukemia 5 years ago after
having contact with a kitten. Throughout the years he has two major
surgeries...not do to the disease however....due to his curiosity and
the fact that he ate part of a palm tree while I was at work...he sailed
through that abdominal search and rescue....and
then my dad passed away in September.
The day my dad died I layed down on the couch on my back crying.
Mo decided to lay down around the top of my head and preceded
to take his paws and lay them on each cheek of my face
and then rub them. It made my crying slow down to say the least...
It seemed like he was trying to make me feel better let alone catch my tears..
Then after some funeral flower arrangements were delivered to my
apartment I didn't take notice of the fact that OF COURSE Mo was going
to try and eat them...and yes he chewed on a ficus tree this time...
and had to have the surgery again...(a year and a half after the first)
He was doing fine until two weeks ago the sneeze he has had awhile
got to be rather intense..so I called the vet and got antibiotics...
to make a long story short after I gave him the meds his throat swelled up huge...
I thought that it was his lymph nodes but it turned up to be a tumor...
that turned big in a week... and I had to put Mo to sleep on
Saturday March 6,1999. It was a traumatic experience as while I
was holding him he was given a sedative the prick must of startled him
& he turned and bit me in the face...not bad or anything... he has NEVER
bit me in the 8 1/2 years that he has blessed me with his presence...
and I know that he would never hurt me...nonetheless I'm still extremely sad
& hope & pray that my Mo kitty is in a better place.
Hey Mo if you are listening,"where you a good boy tonite?!"
I'd ask him that when I got home from work and he'd answer with!
a moan/meow/purr(his answer)...but if I asked if he was sassy or full of
it he would just stare at me at not answer...go figure eh?! He
knows...as my friend Randy always said "MO knows".
I hope he knows my heart aches for him and it's extremely
difficult to get on without him.
I'm very lonely without you Mo. Please be in a better place.
Until we meet again...
I love you MO PO XXXXOOO,
Chel & friends
