Molly a.k.a. Miz Molly by Pat

The groomer where we take
our Tippy to told us we have
to see this poor dog and save her.
We went to look at her.
You could tell she wasn’t being
treated very well,
we felt sorry for her and
brought her home.

She was frightened by everything and
would try to find a safe place to hide.
We couldn’t pick her up or touch her
without scaring her.

With a lot of TLC she finally
began to trust us.
The happier she was the louder
she would bark. When she wanted
to go out or wanted some attention
she would nudge us
with her nose being more forceful
if we didn’t do what she wanted fast enough.
She had a grin from ear to ear
when we went to the park every day.
When she couldn’t see,
Tippy became her guide and
security blanket.

I miss hearing her bark and her nudges.
We only had her for 4 years
but we loved her.

Till we meet again,

Your Mom
