"Muffie" May 1986 ----- October 23 1999

Muffie the most wonderful & loving dog
in our lifetime
entered our life in April 1987.
She was found by a small town dog warden
almost frozen almost starving in Feb.
She gave birth to 7 puppies
2 weeks later and could
hardly care for them in her state.
Having just lost a dog to sickness
we answered an ad for her puppies and upon seeing
Muffie fell in love with her.
We were soon to discover she had heartworm
but a caring vet took care of
that for us and we shared
just over 12 and a half years with this lovely puppy.
Having been told that she needed love badly
we now wonder who got
the better part of the arrangement
her with all the love she could handle
or us with the most perfect dog
we had ever known.
As we all know the stay
of these magnificant friends
is all to short and we are completely
devastated without her.
We love and miss you so our Muffer
