"Nikki" May 17 2000
Dog
Nikki was my big girl.
She was my Nikki girl. I lost her today May 17th.
We buried her in our backyard.
She loved being home.
All she ever wanted was to love us and be with us.
She was so loyal to me.
She didn't care how big the other dog was
she would always put herself between me and anything or
anyone she thought might harm me.
She was so BEAUTIFUL such a pretty girl.
I'm going to miss her climbing between
my husband and me during thunderstorms her only fear.
Panting so heavily that she vibrated the bed.
Her curious puppy looks.
Giving her belly raspberrys getting kisses from her.
Watching her "gut" a stuffed toy.
Playing "monkey in the middle" with her.
I can't believe she's gone she feels so close.
I love her so much and was so blessed to have her in my life.
She was a happy girl and loved.
I miss you Nikki and I am so sorry I couldn't save you.
