Nikki was the biggest sweetest softie ever. She had a very intimidating look about her but she wouldn’t hurt a soul. Unless you had an aversion to being licked to death! I sometimes called her Licky Nikki. She thought she was a lap dog and even though she weighed over 80 pounds she would gladly snuggle with you. She loved to beg for scraps from my Mom (who is a sucker and always gave in). I know mealtimes won’t be the same. She liked to lay on the couch with her head on a pillow and she snored like a buzz saw! She was also very good friends with our cat DC he will miss her dearly I know.
My Mom had to let Nikki go today and I know it was one of the hardest things she has ever done but Nikki had cancer and her life would not have been the same if she had continued to be with us.
We will all miss her
but know she is
in a better place under
that “Rainbow Bridge”….
