Out at a construction site, the
location, a tree with your nest.
A tree your mother chose for
you, one she knew to be the best.
A little one’s fear, your home
someone just has to cut down.
Hearing a sound in your voice, a
cry, mother is nowhere to be found.
You cried in the wild, a natural
